Leasing Requirements
ArtHaus Telegraph welcomes all applicants who meet our rental criteria in accordance with Fair Housing laws. Qualification factors may include income verification, credit and background checks, and guarantor approval. How long of a lease can I sign
ArtHaus Telegraph offers 12-month lease installments, beginning August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027.
When can I move into ArtHaus Telegraph?
Move-in day is scheduled for August 1, 2026. Please contact the leasing office for any alternative move-in options.
What is an installment?
Your total lease amount is divided into 12 equal monthly installments for convenience. First installment: Due on or before August 1, 2026 Final installment: Due July 1, 2027 (unless renewed for another term)
How do I pay my installment?
Payments can be made via check, money order, or online through the Resident Portal.
What if I need to break my lease or go home for the summer?
All leases end July 31, 2027. If you need to move out early, you can relet your space by finding someone to take over the remainder of your lease. Contact the leasing office for assistance with the relet process.
Can I switch floor plans after signing a lease?
Yes, if space is available. Your rate may change depending on the new floor plan. An updated lease addendum must be signed by you and your guarantor (if applicable).
Can I use Financial Aid or Scholarships to pay rent?
Yes! Once your funds are deposited into your bank account, you can use them toward rent. However, ArtHaus Telegraph does not accept payments directly from financial aid offices or defer rent payments for fund disbursement.
What fees will I be charged that aren’t included in my installments?
Please contact the leasing office for a detailed list of one-time and recurring fees, such as application fees, utilities, and administrative costs.
What is a guarantor? Is a guarantor required?
A guarantor is a co-signer who helps you qualify for your lease. Many students use a guarantor since income requirements may apply. During your application, you’ll enter your guarantor’s contact information, and they’ll receive an email link to complete their section securely.
Why do you need my Social Security Number (SSN)?
We use your SSN to conduct required credit and criminal background checks as part of the application process. The credit check is completed by Experian through Entrata, our secure leasing software platform. Entrata uses advanced encryption and SSL/TLS security protocols (2048-bit) to protect your personal information—similar to the security measures used by financial institutions.
How do I lease an apartment?
You can complete the leasing process entirely online or in-person at our leasing office.
Step 1: Application
Provide:
- Desired floor plan/unit
- Name, DOB, SSN, contact info
- Guarantor details (if applicable)
- Valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.)
- Current address and landlord reference
- Bedroom preference and roommate details
Step 2: Lease Signing
- After your application is approved, you’ll receive a link via email to sign your lease
electronically. Once our team countersigns, you’ll receive a finalized digital copy.
Step 3: Stay Updated
- After signing, you’ll receive email updates about construction progress, community
events, move-in information, and more.

Yes. Professional overnight security is provided to maintain a safe and secure community
What floor plans are available?
ArtHaus Telegraph offers a range of spacious layouts, including studios, 2x2, 3x3, 4x2, and 4x4 floor plans, giving you flexibility whether you prefer private living or shared spaces.
Do you offer roommate matching?
Yes! We offer two roommate-matching options: RoomSync: An online platform that connects you with roommates who share your habits, interests, and lifestyle. Team-Assisted Matching: Our leasing team can personally help pair you with compatible roommates based on your preferences.
What’s included in rent?
High-speed internet as well as common area maintenance and cleaning is included with your monthly rent installment.
Are the apartments furnished?
ArtHaus Telegraph offers fully furnished apartments with student leases and unfurnished units with conventional and affordable leases. Furnished student units include modern, comfortable furniture and essential appliances. (Furniture packages may vary by floor plan—please ask our team for details.)
Are pets allowed?
Yes! We’re pet-friendly and welcome your furry friends. Please review our pet policy for any breed, size, or fee restrictions.
Do apartments include a washer and dryer?
Yes, each apartment includes a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.
How can I pay rent?
Rent can be paid online via the Resident Portal, or by check or money order.
Can I stay during holidays and breaks?
Yes! All leases are 12-month terms, so residents are welcome to stay in their apartments year-round.
Is parking available?
ArtHaus Telegraph does not have on-site parking, but nearby parking garages and lots are available independently. Please contact those facilities directly for rates and availability.
What kind of security is provided?
ArtHaus Telegraph is designed with security in mind, featuring controlled access and an extensive camera network throughout the property
Security Measures Include:
Cameras in all exterior and interior entrances/exits. Lobby, amenity, and elevator surveillance. Controlled fob access to doors and shared spaces. Electronic key entry for units and traditional bedroom locks
Are leases available for families with children?
Yes. The property’s policy is included here for family occupants with a child(ren) under the age of eighteen (18) who is domiciled with (i) at least one parent, legal guardian, or another person having legal custody of the child under the age of eighteen, or (ii) the designee of such parent or other person having such custody, with written permission of such parent or other person. For family households with children, all household members age eighteen (18) or older must: (A) complete an application, and (B) sign the lease as a Resident. For family households with children under the age of eighteen (18), at least two (2) people will be permitted to occupy a single bedroom. If a family household with children under the age of eighteen (18) requires additional occupancy per bedroom, additional occupants may be allowed on a case-by-case basis based on factors including, but not limited to, the size of the bedroom(s) and unit, age of the children, configuration of the unit, any physical limitations of the property, and local occupancy codes. If the child occupant reaches eighteen (18) years of age during the term of the lease, the lease will be allowed to complete its term, but renewal will only be offered in compliance with the occupancy policy as stated. Child occupants who are under twenty-four (24) months at the time the lease is signed will not be counted under the occupancy policy for purposes of maximum occupancy but will be counted for subsequent leases if they reach the age of twenty-four (24) months during the term of the lease. The Landlord has the right to lease any empty bedroom(s). Families should contact the office directly regarding the application for family households, as this process varies from individual leasing and the required forms are not all available electronically.
